About Us

Located in Alexandria, Virginia, the Somaliland Mission serves to promote friendly relations with the United States; serving Somaliland-American community throughout the country; working to advance Somaliland’s international interests and campaign for full recognition in the U.S.; and informing the public about Somaliland’s history and culture. The office also highlights Somaliland's contribution to the peace, security and stability in the Horn of African Region.
